How to get there: Capri Drive & Casale Road, Pacific Palisades, CA 90272
Park at Capri and Alamafi street. Walk up Capri and make a left were the road ends continue walking pass the gorgeous homes till you hit the dead end. On your right there is a dirt road . Follow that road and you will get here.
Continue passed the gate and hike about 10 minutes on this road and
You will see the gate to the stairs
At the very end of the stairs there are several other trails. There are many little signs to help you not get confused. It is easy to lose your direction from this point on. So pay attention and use some of the graffiti art as marks.
A bit of history about this place. You will see some abandoned water tanks!
And some abandoned building. Story says that this place was build to be a Nazi Camp while America waited for Nazis to take over around 1930s. But by 1941 American soldiers raided the place and left it abandoned.
It is a nice quite hike and if you just want to burn calories, then go up and down those 530 steps few times.
